Ten things we will not negotiate.

A studio is the sum of its decisions. These are the ones we have made about how we work, what we sign, and what we will not.

We bill by the number, not by the hour.

We agree on a number before the work starts. Time-and-materials is a way for a vendor to keep your budget open. A fixed number is a way for both sides to commit to the same definition of done.

The first reply contains a number.

When you write to us, the first response is a concrete range, not a brochure. If we cannot give you a number yet, we tell you why and what would unlock one.

There is no account manager.

The person who designs is the person who builds and the person who answers your email. No translation layer, no handoff, no message passed through three people before it reaches the work.

AI is the team.

Not a tool we added to look modern. Documented agent teams (Design System Ops, Dev Ops, Social Ops) run with roles, protocols, governance, and a code review on every commit. We wrote the operating system, not the marketing slide.

No work without a written specification.

Discovery is paid, the spec is yours to keep. We do not start a build on a verbal brief. The contract names a scope, a number, and a date, and we go.

The design system is our product.

Every project inherits the compounded maturity of a CSS-first system used across ten production apps. Your project starts on top of that maturity, not next to it.

We do not vanish after launch.

Real handover with documentation a competent team can pick up, or continuing operations as your product partner. Never the silence in between, never the agency disappearing on the day the invoice clears.

Your code, from the first commit.

The contract assigns intellectual property on delivery. The source lives in your repositories, the infrastructure in your accounts, the design files in your workspace. We retain no claim on the deliverables.

We measure delivery in weeks.

Most greenfield SaaS ship in four to eight weeks. A greenfield design system in three. If a project needs longer, we explain why before signing, not after.

We pick our clients.

If the scope is wrong for our model, the stack is wrong for our skills, or the fit is wrong for both sides, we say so and pass. Saying no is part of the work; saying yes to everything is how studios become agencies.
